About The Vined Collective

Meet Ifemide Ayo, LMHC

Ifemide Ayo is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Clinical Director, Consultant, and Founder of The Vined Collective, LLC. She grew up observing the world around her, noticing a lack of language or space to talk about mental health. As a proud first-generation Nigerian American, she also saw firsthand how cultural stigma could make that silence even harder to break. She wanted to be the change she could not see. Her fifth grade curiosity about human behavior and neuroscience eventually became part of her own self-discovery, and left her wondering: how many people don’t heal simply because they don’t know they can?

That question has shaped more than a decade of work centered on trauma- informed care, across places like hospitals and residential facilities, outpatient treatment and community health, and even rehabilitation centers. Along the way, she constantly found herself in leadership roles that sharpened not just her clinical eye, but her ability to build systems, guide teams, and hold steady when things get complicated. Across every setting, the throughline has stayed the same: asking the questions others don’t think to ask, and finding new ways to make mental health knowledge practical, relatable, and something people can actually use.

At the heart of her work is a simple belief that people are capable of more than they sometimes believe for themselves. She brings that same tenacity, resilience, and willingness to think outside the box into every room she’s in, no matter who she’s sitting across from. She’s always learning something new, always analyzing or creating just for the enjoyment of it, and always growing.

About The Vined Collective

The Vined Collective, LLC is a mental health and wellness company built on faith, faith to break through barriers and transform lives. We believe empowerment comes from building knowledge, resilience, and systems-level- thinking; turning insight into an enriched way of operating, day to day. We encourage mental shifts that open the door to new understanding and exploration.

Vision

We want to expand the way people understand mental health, to create greater awareness for change, and open honest conversations through all demographics. When we expand minds, we create room to heal, and when healing reaches one person, it has the power to reach through generations. We want a world where people don't have to lose themselves trying to survive their lives. Where they feel safe enough to name what hurts, strong enough to ask for help, and free enough to become whole.

Mission

We believe everyone deserves to know that they can overcome and that knowledge is power. That what happened to them, or what they're carrying, does not have to be the end of their story. That there can be a life beyond their struggles. Our work is about meeting people where they are, helping them make sense of where they've been, and giving them the support, tools, and space to discover where they can go from here. That’s why we show up in different spaces and at different stages of the journey. The needs may look different, but our commitment remains the same: to recognize the gaps, respond to what’s needed, and help make what feels difficult, feel more possible.
